The Senior Billing & Enrollment Professional is responsible for the accurate enrollment and billing process for an insurance organization. The Senior Billing & Enrollment Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
The Senior Billing & Enrollment Professional understands the systems, processes and tools used to deliver exceptional customer service. They see how Billing and Enrollment fits in to the overall customer experience and collaborates with other areas to prevent/solve problems and develop processes/solutions that enhance the experience. Blends business knowledge with analysis and evaluation of various factors to make business decisions and create effective action plans. May be responsible for or assist in addressing broad, complex enrollment and billing issues. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years of project or process improvement experience
Strong data analysis skills (analyze and interpret data to support business decisions)
Experience facilitating meetings and leading collaborative discussions
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Visio
Billing and Enrollment Knowledge
Six Sigma or PMP certification
Scheduled Weekly Hours
