Humana Electrical/ Mechanical Technician in Phoenix, Arizona


Humana Pharmacy is seeking an Electrical/ Mechanical Technician to join our Maintenance Team. Our Maintenance Team is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of dispensing and dispensing-related equipment.The Facilities Engineering Technician 3 oversees and coordinates fabrication, installation, operation, application, maintenance and repair of mechanical or electromechanical machines, equipment, tools, engines and systems. The Facilities Engineering Technician 3 performs advanced administrative/operational/customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment. May apply intermediate mathematical skills.


The Facilities Engineering Technician 3 ensures that quality levels and industry standards are maintained or improved in the manufacturing process. Evaluates mechanical products to determine their cost effectiveness and efficiency. May evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions. Decisions are typically focus on methods, tactics and processes for completing administrative tasks/projects. Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting and adapting procedures, processes and techniques, and works under limited guidance due to previous experience/breadth and depth of knowledge of administrative processes and organizational knowledge.

The position uncludes:

•3-Phase 480v electric and electrical equipment.•AC/DC motors and motor controls.•PLC’s-specifically ELC, Telemecanique, Allen Bradley; Think and Do would be a plus.•Prior and current NEC code.•Use of test equipment.

•Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs. and sit or stand for extended periods of time.

Required Qualifications

Typically requires High School Diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of technical experience and less than 2 years of leadership experience
