Humana Strategy Advancement Advisor in Louisville, Kentucky

The Strategy Advancement Advisor will support strategic planning and operations for the HQRI leadership team. This positions scope includes:

  • Planning and co-development, and coordination of HQRI executive-level strategic communications (i.e., Humana's Management Team) with HQRI leaders and subject matter experts.

  • Planning support and operations for standing HQRI leadership key forums such as operational performance reviews and strategy reviews.

  • Facilitation of annual objective and key result setting and monthly reporting at the organizational level and partners with respective HQRI operational teams.

  • Contribute as a thought leader across ambiguous and impactful strategic questions and challenges and support ad-hoc strategic initiatives.

  • Leverage a network of peers across the enterprise to ensure high quality and timely submission of key priority deliverables.

The Strategy Advancement Advisor works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action. Critical to success in this position is the ability to influence and inspire others across the organization.

This position is a part of a broader team with diverse capabilities supporting the HQRI organization with process consultation & improvement, project management and strategic consultation & planning. The candidate will work in a team-based culture environment with an ability to adjust plans driven by regulatory or other external factors, internal factors, and/or strategic-level change.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 8 or more years of technical or related experience

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, including executive-level presence, persuasive storytelling and articulation of relevant business context that will ensure effective interaction with senior and executive level audiences.

  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills with ability to synthesize key learnings and insights.

  • Excellent relationship-building skills and proven ability to work collaboratively through various departments and functional areas, promoting a culture of proactive teamwork.

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving customer experiences (e.g., members, providers, and enterprise partners) and testing into new digital solutions.

  • Current or recent experience in a large, highly matrixed company, with proven ability to influence leaders and key stakeholders with operating in such an environment.

  • Advanced PowerPoint design and content development in support of HQRI leadership with key executive-level updates.

  • Experience consulting with individuals at all levels of the organization and driving towards meaningful results.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA preferred.

  • Functional experience in the Medicare Stars/Quality or Risk Adjustment areas is a plus.

  • Planning and execution experience of large-scale team events; in-person and virtually.

  • Hybrid @ Office workstyle

  • Travel will be about 10 to 20%

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$112,400 - $154,900 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
