The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer on the MarketPoint Sales Reporting team collects, integrates, analyzes, and presents the sales organization's raw data in order to create insightful and actionable business information. Interacts with senior sales leaders on a regular basis. Obtains feedback and requirements from customers and turns them into complex, dynamic, and aesthetically-pleasing reports and dashboards in Power BI. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Develops customized, dynamic, and aesthetically-pleasing on-line reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI
Creates, designs, and customizes data visualizations, including charts, tables, and report layouts
Work directly with market and corporate executives and their teams, helping them leverage data and technology to maximize business impact
Analyzes a wide variety of sales data to derive insights
Write queries to pull/summarize/analyze data from various data sets and platforms
Provide mentoring to teammates with respect to consultative and technical skills in order to promote best practices and grow the organization

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Experience in Power BI
Experience in UI/UX, data visualization, or graphic design
SQL knowledge, including writing complex, performant queries to pull data from multiple platforms including SQL Server
3+ years of experience analyzing data to solve a wide variety of business problems and create data visualizations that drive strategic direction
Experience in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced experience in user experience and user interface design
Advanced degree or certification in data visualization, UI/UX, or graphic design
Experience building Power BI and Power Automate dataflows and workflows
Experience creating analytics solutions for various healthcare sectors
Proficiency in understanding Healthcare related data

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:
At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$78,800 - $108,500 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
